SYNOPSIS OF MY NEW BOOK

The book, titled: Help; Ignorance destroying Nigeria. The Western Connection. With sub title; Why Africa may remain underdeveloped/shit hole of the world unless…. Was written after intense research, spanning over four decades and cumulating in the writing of the books titled; Moving from the third world to 1st, effective strategies to alleviate corruption and poverty in Africa. And another titled; Africa, caught in the web of capitalism, confirmed, without iota of doubt, that the underdevelopment, high level/tempo of stealing of state funds, insecurity, corruption, poverty etc, in Nigeria and most climes of the third world, especially in Africa, under capitalist system, was not caused by limitations from God, religion, ethnicity etc but, by a wrong , most savage social ideology (survival of the fittest/winner takes all system) that their leaders ignorantly, foisted upon their citizens since independence. A social ideology that ignorantly but literally says to its citizens, that you, your children, your generations yet unborn CAN NEVER have access to basic necessities of life i.e. healthcare, education, housing etc UNLESS THEY HAVE MONEY. Thus triggering unnecessary/avoidable quest for money using any *means* possible.  Find out how this wrong social ideology discourages growth, encourages high level/tempo of corruption, insecurity, and hence, made resort to religion, ethnicity, call for restructuring/ separatism, agitations brain drain, do or die politics inevitable. Find what Europe did differently from Nigeria. Hence, today, enjoy massive development, low level/tempo of stealing of state funds, insecurity, corruption, poverty etc, under the same system.  Happy reading. Please visit www.ericolie.com.ng for the book soon.

EXTRANEOUS ISSUES

It is our considered opinion that, if the provisions (see appendix d salient points for Nigeria) enumerated in the salient points for Nigeria, are implemented not only will the level/tempo of stealing of state funds, corruption, poverty, call for restructuring/separatism, agitations etc reduce to a level considered normal in any society but, THE MUCH ELUSIVE UNITY IN NIGERIA WILL BE GIVEN A BOOST.

APPENDIX C

INTRODUCTION

One of the main objectives of the research was to find the underlying reason/s for massive development, low level/tempo of stealing of state funds, insecurity, corruption, poverty etc, in Europe, under capitalist system. But, most importantly, to discover the real reason/s why some Nigerians, despite the conditions they studied in Nigeria, do extremely well abroad. A development that confirms, without iota of doubt, that our real fundamental problem is right here in Nigeria. Please see below for details of what we (researchers) discovered plus the salient points/decisions Nigeria must take (marked appendix b and d respectively.). Happy reading.

DATE THE RESEARCH STARTED. 10th March 1977.

DATE RESEARCH WAS CONCLUDED; 20th September 2019.

WHY THE RESEARCH WAS CARRIED OUT

One of the major reason/s for caring out the research, among others, was to find out the real underlying reason/s for the unnecessary/avoidable level/tempo of underdevelopment, stealing of state funds, insecurity, corruption , poverty, brain drain, do or die politics etc in Nigeria, under capitalist system. A development that is now dangerously at variance with what currently obtains in all capitalist climes, especially in Europe. The researchers believe that no problems could be washed away, unless both the root cause/s and manifestations are dealt with.

WHAT THE RESEARCHERS INTEND THE OUTCOME OF THE TO BE USED FOR

The researchers want the federal/state government of Nigeria and indeed all African climes, to use the findings/conclusions of the research to deal with the real root cause of economic policy failures and by extension, the unnecessary/avoidable level/tempo of stealing of state funds, insecurity, corruption, poverty, do or die politics, low/decayed infrastructure, youth restiveness etc. that is a common feature in these climes, under capitalist system.

The researchers, also commend the federal government of Nigeria and indeed all other African countries, that are making serious effort to reduce the level/tempo of corruption, poverty etc. to the barest minimum. But, note that no “significant changes” would be possible, except both the “manifestations” and the real root cause/s of economic policy failures/social instability, are identified and addressed head on.

SCOPE OF THE RESEARCH.

  • The researchers reviewed the real initial economic direction/social consequences of capitalist system. With a view to discover the underlying reason/s for massive development, low level /tempo of stealing of state funds, insecurity, corruption, poverty etc in Europe, under capitalist system. A development that is dangerously at variance with what currently obtains in Nigeria, under the same system.
  • The researchers also reviewed the social structures currently in place in all capitalist climes in Europe, in order to discover the impact such structures made in the success of capitalist system in these climes.
  • The researchers, in carrying out the above, also took a casual look on the current burning issue in Nigeria. (Restructuring to be or not to be.) We also took a swipe on the real reason/s why African climes, were referred as a *SHITHOLE* by a major world leader, among others.

WHAT THE RESEARCHERS DISCOVERED (LAY MANS VERSION) IN OUTLINE FORMAT).

*Based on the review of strategic Analysis and the ROAD TO DISCOVERY ( please see appendix A and B below).  What the strategic analysis of the road discovery of the road to discovery is simply saying is that, to ensure sustainable economic growth/social stability, under capitalist system that, DELIBERATE, sustainable state structures (social inclusion, social security system, by whatever name called.) MUST be integral part of a capitalist clime (like Nigeria) social ideology. So as to assure all citizens (rich or poor, with or without a father, mother etc) of access to basic necessities of life, using state structures (an almost self financing system) as tools for emancipation. Unfortunately, without such structures a capitalist clime (again like Nigeria) is IGNORANTLY BUT LITERALLY saying to its citizens that you, your children, your generations yet unborn can only have access to basic necessities i.e. healthcare, education, housing etc UNLESS THEY HAVE MONEY.  Thus, triggering unnecessary/avoidable quest for money using any means possible, even at the expense of the state (government). And in climes (again like Nigeria) that are composed of devise religion, ethnicity etc, some may also resort to these things, in order to get access to their perceived needs (needs that a state structures would have addressed as it did for citizens in Europe).

*The researchers discovered that the impact of religion, ethnicity etc where they exist, tails to insignificance with the presence of well organized state structures. Fortunately, this is so as politicians having met a state structure that guarantee all citizens access to basic necessities of life realize that the only way to ensure support of the  electorate is by improvement on the state structures (issue based politics) and not fanning the embers of religion, ethnicity etc to so.  A scenario that translate to more development for the capitalist clime.

*The researchers confirmed that one of the major reason/s for sustained economic growth/social stability, under capitalist system, in Europe was the DELIBERATE planning , investment in their human capital through sustainable state structures (social inclusion, social security system, by whatever named called). Today in Europe whether one has a father, mother, rich or poor etc, you, your children and generations yet unborn are guaranteed access to basic necessities of life through state structures. So their citizens have no reason/s to AMASS WEALTH at the level/tempo that some Nigerians now do.

*The researchers discovered that the failure of Nigeria to either put in place state structures nor even maintained the existing ones was a strategic mistake (borne out of ignorance of dangers of capitalist system). Hence, Nigeria was LITERALLY AND IGNORANTLY telling their citizens that there would be no healthcare, education etc for you, your children and generations yet unborn UNLESS they have no money.  Unfortunately, the absence of sustainable state structures (an almost self financing system) forced some citizens to resort to anything be it use of their positions, engage in stealing of state funds/corrupt practices, call for restructuring/separatism, agitations and considering the COMPOSITION OF NIGERIA, along religious, ethnic lines etc, some also resorted to these things in order to get access to their perceived needs, (needs which a state structure would have addressed, as it did for citizens in Europe) with dire economic/social consequences for Nigeria. Fortunately, these are not the real fundamental problems of Nigeria, under capitalist system.

*The researchers opine that if Nigeria had put in place/maintained such structures in the THIRTY STATES AND THE FEDERAL CAPITAL TERRITORY that the level/tempo of underdevelopment, stealing of state funds. Insecurity, corruption, poverty, brain drain , do or die politics, call for restructuring/ separatism, agitations, resort to religion, ethnicity, etc WOULD NEVER  be at the level it is today in Nigeria. Fortunately, this is so as Nigerians realize that they have no justifications to amass wealth at the level/tempo that some now do. Because through the state structures they, their children and generations yet unborn could use state structures to move to the next level of their lives. As it is currently the case all over Europe today.

*  The researchers discovered that the failure of Nigeria to plan ,invest in her human capital through state structures was a strategic mistake borne out of ignorance of the dangers of capitalist system. Hence, Nigeria without realizing it, ignorantly run a social ideology THAT LITERALLY  discourages growth, perpetuates high level/tempo poverty, corruption etc,  Hence, Nigeria without realizing it, laid a solid foundation for the unnecessary/avoidable level/tempo of underdevelopment, stealing of state funds, insecurity, corruption. poverty, among others. Unfortunately, this was so, as Nigerians realize that under the current social ideology, only the rich or those that have money alone, could have access to basic necessities of life.  Hence, some Nigerians resorted to use their positions, engage in stealing of state funds/corrupt practices, agitations, call for separatism, call for restructuring, resort to religion, ethnicity etc . All with a view to get access to their perceived needs. Needs which a state structure would have addressed as it did for the citizens in Europe.  With dire economic/social economic consequences for Nigeria.

*The situation in Nigeria today, (winner takes all system/survival of the fittest.) is akin to near animal kingdom. When animals fight for meat they use their teeth, claws, brute force, intimidation etc, to get access to the meat. But if the meat is spread all over, they eat their meat quietly. If state structures were in place in the thirty six states and the federal capital territory then, call for restructuring, separatism, agitation, resort to religion, ethnicity etc would never be at the level/tempo it is today, because Nigerians, (depending on where they reside.) could avail themselves of state structures, to move to the next level of their lives, instead of engaging in stealing of state funds/engage in corrupt practices etc to do so.

WHAT IF NIGERIA HAD MADE SUSTAINABLE STATE STRUCTURES AN INTEGRAL PART OF OUR SOCIAL IDEOLOGY, SINCE INDEPENDENCE?

The researchers discovered that if Nigeria had put in place such state structures and also maintained the existing ones (that are now moribund) then,

*The call for restructuring, separatism, resort to religion, ethnicity, use of one’s position etc to get access to their perceived needs would be NEVER be at the level/tempo it is today. Fortunately, this is so as Nigerians come to realize that they, their generations unborn, could use the state structure now available in the states where they presently reside, or in the federal capital territory, if they do reside there, in order to have access to their perceived needs. Perhaps all that may be *NECESSARY*, is devolution of powers to the states.(To enhance competition  between the states) Let states be in charge of their roads, education, community police etc.  The need for RESOURCE CONTROL to be limited ONLY TO items commonly available to all the state is now germane as ever, in order to enhance unity. Unity of Nigeria must never be toyed with.

*No Nigerian child (with or without a father, mother, rich or poor,) would be on the street wasting away, as is the case all over Europe today.  In the same vein, the level/tempo of poverty, corruption, insecurity, brain drain, do or die politics etc would NEVER be at the level/tempo it is today.  Please see the full report for details. It is pertinent to note that no country can reduce the level/tempo of poverty, insecurity, corruption etc, if significant population of a country, do not have access to basic education, healthcare, among others. In fact they are simply ticking time bomb waiting to explode.

*Majority of Nigerian workers (initiators/executors of government economic policies.) would have been able to live on their legitimate income. During the research over eighty percent of Nigerians workers, confirmed that they found it almost impossible to live on their legitimate income. A development that confirmed that, salary/wages increases even though necessary/desirable are not fundamental solution to stealing of state funds, corruption etc under capitalist system. (Especially in an import dependent economy, with little or no price control mechanism). That, state structure would have made an impact in level/tempo of stealing of state funds, corruption etc is again to state the facts, as it is. Please see the full report for details.

*Nigeria much elusive unity would have been given a boost. This is so as politicians having met state structures that guarantee citizens access to basic necessities of life, realize that the only way to get support from the electorate is by improvement in the state structures. (Issue based politics.) Hence the resort to fanning of embers of religion, ethnicity etc would significantly reduce. A factor that would impact positively on Nigeria development.

APPENDIX B

INTRODUCTION

STRATEGIC ANALYSIS OF THE ROAD TO DISCOVERY.

How ignorance laid a solid foundation for high level/tempo of under development, corruption, poverty etc in Nigeria.

Based on further strategic/empirical analysis of the ROAD TO DISCOVERY (marked appendix A….) and the two key socio/economic systems in the world today, i.e. socialist/capitalist system, we discovered the following as one of the major reasons for underdevelopment, persistent high level/tempo of stealing of state funds, insecurity, corruption, poverty etc in Nigeria and most climes in the third world, especially in Africa, under capitalist system. A development that is now dangerously at variance with what currently obtains all over Europe, under the same system. Please see below, in itemized format what we discovered as one of the major factors responsible for sordid economic/social performance in these climes.

*We discovered that one of the greatest danger of capitalist system (that Nigeria and most climes in the third world, especially in Africa subscribes to, is that, millions (majority) may not be able to have access to basic necessities of life because they are poor or their legitimate income are not enough to meet their real needs.(needs that exacerbate the growth of corruption/poverty etc) So it is the *responsibility * of the state (government) to intervene with sustainable state structures (social inclusion, social security system, by whatever name called) to enable all citizens (rich or poor, with or without a father, mother etc,) have access to basic necessities of life, i.e. healthcare, education, housing etc. (When the need to so arises)   Unfortunately, those capitalist climes (like Nigeria.) that their leaders, ignorantly failed to make state structures (An almost self financing system) an integral part of their social ideology have without realizing it, laid a solid foundation for under development, persistent high level/tempo of stealing of state funds, insecurity, corruption, poverty etc. This is so as citizens realize that, under this dispensation, money, possession of it, lack of it, determines ones access to basic necessities of life. Hence, some may resort to anything, be it their position, agitations, religion,  agitations, call for restructuring/ separatism etc to get access to their perceived needs, even at the expense of the state (Government) A development that its socio-economic consequences are better imagined than felt.

*We discovered that where significant population of any country have no access to education, healthcare, housing etc because they are poor or their legitimate income is not enough to meet their real needs,(Needs that exacerbate the growth of corruption/poverty etc) that it is impossible to reduce the level/tempo of poverty, insecurity, corruption etc to a level considered normal in any society.

*We discovered that religion, ethnicity, tribe etc, (Where they exist) may pose significant threat to sustainable development,  as some may also resort to these, in order to get access to their perceived needs.  But these are not the real FUNDAMENTAL PROBLEMS as the impact of these, are hardly felt if state structures were made an integral part of the social ideology of a capitalist clime. Fortunately, this is so as the POLITICIANS having met a state structure that guarantee citizens access to healthcare, education, housing etc realize that the only   way to get electorate to support them is by improvement in the state structures.(issue based politics) as is now the case all over Europe today. In other words, no politician would fan the embers of religion, ethnicity etc to woe the electorate but are likely to say, please vote for me for I will ensure you get water, good roads etc. This is one of the major reasons for massive development in Europe today as politicians in these climes realized long time ago that only way to assure citizen’s dividend of democracy, is improvement on the state structures they met.

*We discovered that unless state structures are made an integral part of a countries social ideology that majority of workers (initiators/executors of Government policies) may find it extremely difficult to live on their legitimate income.(especially in an import dependent economy that has little or no price control mechanism ) and any attempt to use massive increase in salary/wages , to ameliorate the  situation, may lead to hyper inflation. A factor that may affect a countries foreign exchange negatively.

*We discovered that one of the major secret of massive sustainable development, low level/tempo of stealing of state funds, insecurity, corruption, poverty etc in Europe, under capitalist system was the DELIBERATE planning, investment in their human capital through sustainable state structures. And today they are reaping the rewards of their investment in human capital. Unfortunately, without such state structures to assure all citizens of access to basic necessities of life, capitalist system turns to winner takes all system. A recipe for economic policy failures/social instability as some citizens’ struggle over who gets what even at the expense of the state. (Government).

WHAT IS THE MEANING OF STATE STRUCTURES?

Sustainable state structures (social inclusion) are simply DELIBERATE, ALTERNATIVE state structures that all citizens could use to have access to basic necessities of life, when the need arises. It is not A FREE MEAL BECAUSE FREE MEALS do not last. In line with the best practice all over Europe, there must be counterpart contributions from the citizens, in order to ensure sustainability.  But it recognizes the positions of the vulnerable and then provides a succor for these crops of people. Again in line with best practice available in the world today, state structures include but not limited to the following,

*access to basic/advance healthcare/education for all citizens *Includes running a efficient mortgage, insurance; grants, loans, credit system etc that are tailored within the confines of citizens legitimate income.*well organized pension scheme that addresses the pre and post requirement of the retirees. * When it is at full blown stage, it also includes the payment of unemployment/child benefits to the unemployed and children within certain age brackets etc *It also includes efficient care system for the destitute, orphans, among others.  It also includes massive investment in housing, (mass housing and demolition of slums to give all citizens a sense of belonging) transportation, food security etc to ensure availability/affordability. The centerpiece of state structures is human capital development. State structures literally says to citizens, please use me to have access to basic necessities of life, instead of resorting to stealing of state funds/ engage in corrupt practices etc to do so. Today, when one hears of access to basic necessities of life, for all in Europe, payment of unemployment benefits to unemployed, care of destitute, etc. it is not because Europe have money to throw around but because they realize the dangers of not doing so.

KEY TO SUSTAINABLE ECONOMIC GROWTH/SOCIAL STABILITY , UNDER CAPITALIST SYSTEM.

*The researchers opine that the key to sustainable economic growth/social stability under Capitalist/socialist system lies in planning, investment in a countries human capital, through state structures. If Nigeria had, since independence, made state structures an integral part of our social ideology, just as leaders in Europe did, when it dawned on their leaders that capitalist system is UNWORKABLE where basic necessities of life, are only for those that can afford it. And the danger such poses to sustainable economic/social stability. Then the level/tempo of underdevelopment, stealing of state funds, agitations, call for separatism etc would NEVER be at the level/tempo it is today, in Nigeria.

CONCLUSIONS/THE GREAT DISCONNECTION FROM THE BENEFITS OF CAPITALIST SYSTEM

Based on the research, shunning out economic policies (no matter how strategic) without DELIBERATE state structures (social inclusion, social security system, by whatever name called) in order to assure citizens of access to basic necessities of life, is a sure easy way to the failure of economic policy/social instability, under capitalist system. Unfortunately, it was the failure of Nigerian leaders to plan, invest in her greatest asset (human capital) that laid a solid foundation for the current status quo in Nigeria.  A position that researchers prefer to refer as GREAT DISCONNECTION from the benefits of capitalist system. As long as Nigeria fails to plan, invest in her human capital, through sustainable state structures, the level/tempo of underdevelopment, corruption, poverty etc may be very difficult to change to a level considered normal in a civilized society.

*For the avoidance of doubts, the key to sustainable economic growth/social stability, under capitalist lies in planning ,investing in a countries human capital first and not shunning economic policies that are almost dead because some citizens are more engrossed with what is in it for me, even at the expense of the state .(Government).

Litmus Test of the issues Raised in the Research

To understand the issues raised in the research, drop a child in UK (Europe) and then drop another in Nigeria (Africa) and then come back in twenty five years’ time. The child dropped in Europe may turn out to be the doctor that is treating you, when next you are in Europe on medical trip. But the child dropped in Nigeria, may be one of the UNEDUCATED youths wasting on the streets of Nigeria, without any skill. Based on the research this is so, because Europe saw the dangers of capitalist system (dangers of running   a social ideology where only those that have money could have access to basic necessities of life alone.) and then run a different social ideology that its centerpiece is human capital development. Whereas, Nigeria (Africa) due to ignorance, run a social ideology that is anti human capital development ,hence, the sordid economic/social performance recorded in  these climes  throughout   21st century.

 APPENDIX A

THE ROAD TO DISCOVERY. HOW THE RESEARCHERS DISCOVERED

THE REAL TRUTH BEHIND CAPITALIST SYSTEM

The greatest limitation of man is to look at evil/dangers prevalent in the world today, and conclude that nothing can be done to change the status quo

ROAD TO DISCOVERY

Why the research was carried out/findings.

Purpose of the Research

The  research spanning over four decades was carried out to discover the secret of massive development, low level/tempo of stealing of state funds, corruption, poverty etc. in  all capitalist climes in Europe. A development that is today, dangerously at variance with what currently obtains in Nigeria/Africa, under the same system.

Why Further Research Became Necessary

Further research was carried out, when a former senator submitted a proposal for the introduction of limited social security system in Nigeria, as recommended by my previous books, as an antidote to high level/tempo of stealing of state funds, corruption, poverty, lack of development, do or die politics etc. in Nigeria. Unfortunately, that proposal was rejected by the members of the Nigeria national assembly on the grounds that Nigeria is not ripe for such.

The researchers, therefore decided to carry out further research, among others, in order to discover the underlying reasons for the massive development, low level/tempo of stealing of state funds, corruption, poverty etc in Europe, under capitalist system and in particular to discover the real reason/s why all the capitalist climes in Europe have a well-organized, ALTERNATIVE sustainable state/welfare structures that their citizens (rich or poor, with or without father, mother etc ) could resort to, when they, their children, generations yet unborn etc. need to have access to basic necessities of life. In addition the researchers need to find out why these climes run a most efficient pension scheme that addresses the immediate/long term needs of their citizens, among others.

GENESIS OF NIGERIA/AFRICAN SOCIO-ECONOMIC PROBLEMS UNDER CAPITALIST SYSTEM.

Further in-depth analysis of the two key systems in the world today, i.e. socialist and capitalist system, confirmed that, one of the major reason/s for massive development, low level/tempo of stealing of state funds, insecurity, corruption, poverty etc in Europe, under capitalist system .was the *deliberate* planning, investment, in their greatest asset (human capital), through sustainable state structures (social inclusion, social security system, by whatever name called). The researchers discovered that the failure of the leaders in Nigeria and most climes in Africa, to plan, invest in her human capital (a position borne out of ignorance of the dangers of capitalist system) as responsible for the sordid economic/social performance recorded in these climes, under capitalist system. The researchers opine that no significant changes are possible in these climes, now or in the future, unless they do the needful in this regard. Fortunately, this we discovered after reviewing the reason/s for initial/sustained success of both key systems in the world today i.e. socialist and capitalist system. Below are our findings.

IS IT THE SAME VERSION OF CAPITALISM?

The researchers decided to examine in dept. the initial economic direction of capitalist/socialist system and also the social consequences of the two systems. The essence of this research was to find out if Nigeria/African leaders understood the initial economic direction of the two key systems and most importantly, whether their leaders prepared their citizens for the social consequences of the two systems.

THE REAL REASON FOR THE INITIAL/SUSTAINED SUCCESS OF SOCIALIST/CAPITALIST SYSTEM

The researchers discovered that, under the socio-economic system called socialism, the state (government) is responsible for the running of all strategic assets/companies etc. and also responsible for the welfare of the people i.e. healthcare, education, food security, transportation etc. The proponents of capitalism were, however, of the view that the state should privatize these strategic assets/companies etc. so, as to reduce corruption, embezzlement, wastages, lack of ideas, visions, commitments, inherent in a public sector driven economy. They further opined that, doing so would enhance rapid industrialization and create massive employment opportunities for their citizens. The proponents of the system, further advised that the state have no business running businesses that private sector could do better and later pay tax to the state, for the running of social service. They however, never proffered any solution to the human misery and dangerous inequality, which comes with the system. For instance, what happens to millions that could not have access to basic healthcare, education, housing etc. because they are poor? Socialist dispensation succeeded to a certain extent because the proponents of the system were very clear that the state must be responsible for the basic necessities of man. That Cuba, China, are doing well, today is because the state took care of the most important asset (the human capital). These climes today, are responsible for healthcare, education, food security, transportation etc. while still retaining the management of key strategic assets/companies etc.

The researchers discovered that the initial success of socialist system was based on the fact that the state (government) took care of the needs of the citizens providing healthcare, education, housing etc .so citizens naturally supported the state. They have no reason not to, since their welfare has been assured. However, the proponents of capitalist system had problem implementing the system, because of the human miseries and dangerous inequality, which is inherent in the system. A development that meant that millions (unfortunately the majority) could not have access to basic necessities of life because they are poor or their legitimate income is not enough to meet basic necessities of life. This development, with its attendant consequences on the sustained economic growth/social stability, under capitalist system, made the leaders of Europe to review the practice of pure capitalist system

What the Researchers Discovered

The Mistake Nigeria/African Leaders Made In the Practice of Capitalist System. The Great Disconnection from the System

Based on the research, Nigeria/African leaders made two key fundamental mistakes in the application/practice of Capitalist System. First, most of the leaders in these climes were ignorant of the initial economic direction of Capitalist System. Hence, they failed to gain from the system in the form of rapid industrialization, creation of employment opportunities, efficient utilization of scarce resources, vision, commitment, etc. that comes with the private sector driven economy. But, most importantly, the leaders in these climes NEVER (a position borne of ignorance of the dangers of capitalist system) made the welfare of its citizens the key responsibility of the state (government) by making state structures an integral part of their social ideology. And then through such structures assure all citizens (rich or poor, with or without a father, mother etc) of access to basic necessities of life, using state structures as tools for emancipation. So, these climes ignorantly run a social ideology (survival of the fittest) that gave erroneous impression that access to basic necessities of life, was meant for the rich or those who have money only. A social ideology that literally says to the citizens, that you, your children and generations yet unborn, cannot have access to basic necessities of life i.e. healthcare, education, housing etc. UNLESS THEY have money, only. The researchers opine and rightly too that it is the absence of state/welfare structures that made some citizens of these climes to resort to anything, be it their position, call for restructuring/separatism, agitations, religion, ethnicity,  etc. in order to get access to their perceived needs. Thus, leading to underdevelopment, high level/tempo of stealing of state funds, corruption, poverty etc. in these climes.

The researchers opine that those Capitalist climes that are doing well today i.e. those that today boast of massive development, low level/tempo of stealing of state funds, corruption, insecurity, poverty etc. are those that made the welfare of their citizens a key responsibility of the state. They are those that saw the dangers of running a social ideology where basic necessities of are only for those thave have money alone and the dangers such poses to sustainable economic growth/social stability. Hence , they made state structures (social inclusion, social security system, by whatever means called) an integral part of their social ideology. And today they are reaping the reward of their DELIBERATE planning/investment in their greatest asset (human capital).

APPENDIX D

SALIENT  POINTS FROM THE RESEARCH FOR NIGERIA

*The research confirmed the urgent strategic need for Nigeria to put in place sustainable state structures/resuscitate the existing ones that are now moribund in the thirty six states and the federal capital territory in order to assure Nigerians (rich or poor , with or without a father, mother etc ) of access to basic necessities of life. Hence, deal with the real root cause/s of the stealing of state funds /corrupt practices, call for restructuring, separatism, agitations etc and by extension real root cause of underdevelopment, poverty etc. in Nigeria, under capitalist system.

*The researchers discovered that without such structures capitalist system (unlike in a socialist system) turns to winner takes all system, a recipe for economic policy failures/social instability.  If the truth MUST be told without state structures Nigeria was ignorantly but literally saying to its citizens: no healthcare, education etc UNLESS you have money. Hence, Nigerians, unlike their counterparts in Europe started investing in themselves using ANY MEANS POSSIBLE and the consequences are what we see today all over Nigeria.

*The researchers opine that what is happening in Nigeria today is akin to near animal kingdom. When animals fight for meat, they use their claws, brute strength, intimidation, etc but place the meat for each animal to eat, the situation changes. State structures are the way to go or the system turns to winner takes all system, as is the case in Nigeria. Please see the strategic analysis of the road to discovery for details.

*The researchers, confirmed, that if Nigeria had made state structures an integral part of our social ideology, just as Europe did in the face of dangers of capitalist system, then, she should have developed beyond the present status quo. But most importantly, the level/tempo of stealing of state funds, corruption, poverty, under development, call for restructuring, separatism, agitations,  etc would  NEVER at the  level it is in Nigeria today.

*The researchers discovered that religion, ethnicity, tribe etc where they exist, may cause significant problems but the impact are significantly reduced with the presence of well organized state structures. Fortunately, this so as politicians realize that all that is needed to get the electorate to support them, is mere improvement in the state structures (issue based politics), a recipe for massive development.

* WHAT NIGERIA MUST DO.?  Based on the research UNLESS Nigeria put in place state structures/resuscitate the existing ones in the thirty six states of the federation and the federal capital territory then,  the level/tempo of the call for restructuring/separatism, agitations, stealing of state funds, insecurity, corruption, poverty, brain drain, do or die politics, resort to religion, ethnicity etc in order to get access to a perceived need (needs that state structure would have addressed as it did for the citizens in Europe.) would remain a BIG problem for Nigeria. Unfortunately, this is so as citizens realize that under this dispensation only those that have money could have access to basic necessities of life. Hence some resort to any means to get access to their needs. The researchers consider this, as recipe for economic policy failures/ social instability.

*To ensure success of the above, federal government of Nigeria, MUST devolve powers to the states. All resource/activities that are common to all states i.e. healthcare, education, housing, agriculture etc should be left to the states. However resources not COMMON to all i.e. coal, gold, oil, aluminum etc should be left to the federal government to control and share as usual. No state should be allowed to have monopoly over others’

*What is clear from the research is that without DELIBERATE state structures to assure all citizens of basic necessities of life, citizens’ resort to anything to get access to their perceived needs. And the consequences are what we see today in Nigeria.

EXTRANEOUS ISSUES.

Considering the composition of Nigeria along ethnic, religious lines etc the need to rotate power between south and North in order to enhance unity may be considered as an option.

DECISION THAT NIGERIA MUST TAKE

*Nigeria must take that strategic decision to plan, invest in her greatest asset (human capital) through sustainable state structures. Just as is the case all over Europe today. In particular,

*Nigeria must take that decision that decision that basic/advanced healthcare/education must be available to all citizens through state structures, as is the case all over Europe. It is clear without such planning, investment in human capital, capitalist system turns to winner takes all system. A recipe for economic policy failures/ instability.

*Nigeria must take the decision to run an effective mortgage, insurance, grant, loan, credit system, that are tailored within the confines of citizens legitimate income.

*Nigeria must take that decision to care for the unemployed. the destitute, the aged etc again, as is currently the case all over Europe.

*Nigeria must take that decision to run most effective pension scheme that, addresses the pre/post requirements of their retirees. The current situation where many pensioners spend months, years , die while waiting for entitlement not only depressing but it sends a wrong message to those currently serving their nation

APPENDIX E.

FALLOUT OF THE RESEARCH CONCLUSIONS AND ACTION PLANS FOR SOCIAL EVOLUTION IN NIGERIA

“The action of the federal government in trying to recover ill-gotten wealth from some Nigerians is a welcome development and highly commendable. The issue is what exactly are the underlying root cause/s of, persistent high corruption/poverty, insecurity etc. in Nigeria?

INTRODUCTION.

*It is clear, based on the research that Nigeria made two key strategic mistakes in the application, practice and implementation of capitalist system. First, Nigeria founding fathers and successive leaders were ignorant of the initial economic direction of capitalist system. So Nigeria, since independence, failed to articulate an economic policy that would have enabled Nigeria benefit from the system i.e. in the form of rapid industrialization, efficient utilization of scarce resources, creation of massive job opportunities, commitment, vision and ideas, among others. But by far the greatest mistake made by Nigerian leaders in the practice/application of capitalist system was their failure to make to make state structures (social inclusion, social security system, by whatever name called) thus , ignorantly running a social ideology that gave erroneous impression that only the rich or those that have money alone could have access to basic necessities of life. Hence triggering unnecessary quest for money, using any means possible.

*What is clear from the research is that Nigeria would have developed beyond what we see today, if her leaders had planned, invested in their greatest asset (human capital) through sustainable state structures, just as Europe did, when their leaders realized that capitalist system is UNWORKABLE where basic necessities are only for those that can afford it.

WHAT NIGERIA SHOULD DO.

ISSUES/PROBLEMS

*        Failure to diversify Nigeria economy.

*        Refining of Nigeria crude abroad.

*        Inability to maintain stable exchange rate.

*No stable power/dilapidated infrastructures.

*Failure to restrict imports.

*Failure to attract manufactures to Nigeria.

*Privatization, the need for review and access its future implications to Nigeria. Concession, private/public sector partnership, commercialization etc the use and its effect.

*Persistent high level/tempo stealing of state funds, insecurity, corruption, poverty, brain drain, call for restructuring, agitations, separatism etc in Nigeria,

WHAT THE RESEARCH RECOMMENDS.

*Nigeria should diversify its economy in other to create more employment opportunities for its teeming masses of unemployed youths. In the same vein, Nigeria needs to improve its revenue base, and be ready for the world after oil.

*Nigeria should do everything possible to stop refining of crude oil abroad by ensuring that our refineries’ work optimally. Nigeria not only loses much needed foreign exchange but also loses about thirteen derivatives from crude oil refining.

*Nigeria can only maintain durable foreign exchange if she reduces her import dependency, refine her crude in Nigeria, encourage manufactures of essential products in Nigeria, stop importations of non essential goods, among others.

* No stone should be left unturned in our current efforts to ensure constant power in Nigeria in order to enhance our manufacturing base, besides constant power is a recipe for more employment opportunities for Nigerians, among others.

* Nigeria should do everything possible to attract manufactures from abroad to come here and set up their business under the concept of build, operate, train local staff, recover cost, and check out.

* On the unnecessary/avoidable level/tempo of the call for restructuring, agitations, separatism, stealing of state funds, insecurity, corruption, poverty, do or die politics, resort to religion, ethnicity, tribe, brain drain, do or die politics etc. The researchers commend the federal government of Nigeria for dealing with the manifestations of the social vices in Nigeria but note that no significant changes in the status quo is possible now or in the future, unless the inherent root cause/s of it, are addressed through state structures. The research advice that state structures, that its centerpiece is human capital development, should be put in place in the thirty states/federal capital territory. It is our considered opinion that when this is done, along with devolution of powers to the states then the level/tempo of the vices above would reduce.

PRIVATIZATION OF STRATEGIC ASSETS/COMPANIES ETC.

*Privatization of key strategic assets/companies etc. in line with the views of proponents of capitalist system remains a veritable tool to fast track any economy. Privatization reduces corruption, wastages, embezzlements, lack of visions, commitments, initiatives etc. inherent in a public sector driven economy, but most importantly, it enhances industrialization/massive creation of employment opportunities, for the teeming masses of unemployed youths.

*Those opposing privatization are just postponing the evil day. The pains of privatization should not be the reason to stop it. Such pains (although temporary) should be mitigated with sustainable state structure (social inclusion) that addresses the root cause of such pain. The fact, still remains that, the alternative to privatization, is to continue to subsidize consumption, instead of creating wealth.

DANGER OF FULL BLOWN PRIVATIZATION OF STRATEGIC ASSETS/COMPANIES

  • Privatization despite its economic advantages comes with a price. Private sector could topple an elected government by withholding services to the people. They could, also increase prices arbitrary. The leaders of Europe in realization of this, put in place several workable concepts i.e. Private/public sector initiatives, commercialization, concessioning etc. in order to control, use the resources/expertise of the private sector.

Lesson from Europe

*The federal/state government should decide to what extent she should privatize its key strategic industries/companies and at what stage to use the concepts mentioned above. Unfortunately, the leaders of Europe learnt this, the hard way.

NEED TO CREATE ENABLING ENVIRONMENT FOR PRIVATE SECTOR TO THRIVE

*The responsibility to create enabling environment for the private sector to thrive effectively, is that of the state (government).

  PENSION MATTERS

*It is clear based on the research that the greatest asset of any nation is “first” her human capital. Everything possible should be done to develop it, prepare this most important asset for the future and eventual retirement. Nigerian leaders must ensure that pension benefits due to the retirees are paid on time and as when due. It is important to realize that, when those yet to retire realize that the state (government) is taking care of the retirees they would not only give their best but shun corrupt practices that are inimical to the development of this great country, called Nigeria.

*There may be need to review Nigeria pension systems, to ensure that it is promptly paid, and that it meets the needs of the retirees. The fact still remains that when the serving officer realize that his/her pension issue would be addressed with dispatch, the urge to engage in  corrupt practices, would also be reduced.

*Nigeria must put in place a sustainable pension scheme that is constantly reviewed to meet the needs of retired officers. These pension, for efficiency and effectiveness must be paid as at when due. This is one of the ways to assure those yet to retire that they need not engage in corrupt practices/steal state funds etc. because their dues, would be paid to them, when they eventually retire i.e. in addition to the sustainable state structures (social inclusion) that assured all their children (yet unborn) of stress free access to basic necessities of life.

YOUTH RESTIVENESS/UNEMPLOYMENT

 (a)    Create employment opportunities for the unemployed youths. Ensure skill acquisitions for the unemployed.

(b)     Pay unemployment benefits to those that have no jobs (start with graduates).

(c)      Feed primary school pupils to enhance enrolment.

(d)     Take care of the destitute in a home. They are humans too. By doing so, positive signals are sent to your citizens that, none is useless.

SUM EFFECT OF THE ABOVE

The sum effect of the above is the reduction of the level/tempo of stealing of state funds, corruption, poverty and do or die politics etc. as Nigerians realize that through the state structures (social inclusion) they or their children could have stress free access to basic necessities of life. This is turn, would enhance implementation of right economic policies that impact on the generality of Nigerians.

INCREASE IN SALARY/WAGES

*The research does not support any further increase in salary, in any guise. Any such increase should not be more than five to fifteen percent. What is more important is how to ensure that Nigerians could have stress free access to basic necessities of life, through sustainable state structures (social inclusion). In line with world best practice.

*Based on the research, the federal/state governments of Nigeria should address the real needs of the workers, through state structures (social inclusion). Nigeria workers, just like their counterparts in Europe, should be able to have access to healthcare, education, housing etc. through the state structure. There may be need to introduce the payment of social security tax, so as to actualize this. In the same vein, there is need to put in place a workable mortgage, insurance, grant, loan credit system that is tailored to meet the real needs of workers, as is applicable all over Europe. Nigerian workers should be able to own their own homes through mortgages that is tailored within the confines of their legitimate income, among others.

SYNOPSIS OF MY NEW BOOK

For over forty years , I and other researchers have been caring out research to find the underlying reason/s why Nigeria and most climes in the third world especially in Africa have nothing but underdevelopment, high level/tempo of stealing of state funds, insecurity, corruption, poverty, do or die politics etc  since embracing capitalist system. A development that is today dangerously at variance with what currently obtains all over Europe, under the same system.

In carrying out this research, it was our considered opinion that no problem could be washed away unless the underlying root cause/s are identified and addressed. During the research I wrote two books titled as follows; moving from the third world to first, effective strategies to alleviate corruption and poverty in Africa. And another titled; Africa caught in the web of capitalism. In concluding the research, our findings/conclusions marked appendix A road to discovery, and appendix B analysis of appendix A and appendix C findings/conclusions of the research and appendix D salient points from the research were produced.

Further intense analysis of appendix a to d and in line with what currently obtains all over Europe today, we confirm, without iota of doubt that,  religion, ethnicity, failure to restructure Nigeria, quest for separatism etc are not the fundamental problems responsible for the sordid economic/social performance recorded in Nigeria, under capitalist system. Based on further analysis of appendix a to d, the researchers opine that, these are simply by products of a most savage social ideology that Nigeria leaders, ignorantly foisted upon their citizens since independence. A social ideology that today, discourages growth, perpetuates poverty, hence made persistent high level/ tempo of stealing of state funds, insecurity, corruption, do or die politics, resort to religion, call for restructuring, agitations, call for separatism, brain drain , do or die politics  etc inevitable. Please see below in outline format what review of appendix a to d revealed.  Please read facts that aided the review below for proper understanding of issues raised.

WHAT THE REVIEW OF APPENDIX A TO D REVEALED? REVIEW DATE MAY 2020.

*The review of appendix a to d revealed that the climes that now boost of massive development, low level/tempo of stealing of state funds, insecurity, corruption, poverty etc, especially in Europe, under capitalist system are those their leaders run economic vision of capitalist system along with social vision of  socialist system, as propounded by the proponents of the socialist system. In other words, they are those whose leaders run a social ideology that assures every citizens of access to basic/advanced necessities of life i.e. healthcare, education, housing etc through deliberate, sustainable state structures (social inclusion, social security system, by whatever name called) along with the practice and application of the economic vision of capitalist system as propounded by the proponents of capitalist system. For avoidance of doubts, social vision of socialist system as propounded by the proponents of the system confers upon the state (government) the role of taking care of the welfare of its citizen’s i.e.  their healthcare, education, housing etc through state structures.  The researchers discovered that initial/sustained success of socialist system in the climes that still operate such systems, to the roles that state plays for the benefit of its citizens.

*How state structures enhanced growth, development etc in Europe. The review revealed that state structures (an almost self financing system) made it possible for the workers in Europe (majority) to live on their legitimate income. Hence, its positive effect on the level/tempo of stealing of state funds, corruption, poverty etc. In the same vein, state structures made it possible for all their citizens (rich or poor, with or without a father, mother etc) to have access to basic education, healthcare etc, hence not only reduced the level/tempo of poverty, but enhanced the development of their human capital, among others. If the truth must be told, it is not possible to reduce the level/tempo of poverty and by extension insecurity where millions of future productive work force  (children) have no access to basic education, healthcare etc because they are poor. But most importantly, state structures made it possible for political office seekers to use improvements in state structures (issue base politics) to seek for support from the electorate instead of fanning the embers of religion, ethnicity etc (where such exists ) to do so. A scenario that, not only made it possible for citizens of Europe to elect their leaders based on what they can do enhance human capital development but it also enhanced massive development of Europe. The sum effect of all these are massive development, low level/tempo of stealing of state funds, insecurity, corruption, poverty, among others in Europe today.

*What is clear from the above analysis is that, Europe economic/social progress under capitalist system was possible because of strategic planning, investment in their key asset (human capital) through state structures.  The researchers opine that state structures not only made their workers, key stake holders in their economy to live on their legitimate income but also made their political office holders to resort to issue based politics, hence the current status quo in Europe.

*ONE OF THE GREATEST BENEFIT OF STATE STRUCTURES IN EUROPE, is that, it greatly reduced financial/other pressures on the few that are lucky to be employed in Europe, thus, reducing the level/tempo of stealing of state funds, corruption etc and by extension enhance massive development.

*WHAT THE REVIEW REVEALED ABOUT  THE PRACTICE OF CAPITALIST SYSTEM IN NIGERIA/ AFRICA. The review revealed that, the failure of Nigeria/African leaders to make state structures an integral part of their social ideology nor even manage such structures successfully, where such exist, among others, is one of the major reason/s why majority of their workers, key stake holders in the economy, found it extremely very difficult to live on their legitimate income, despite massive increases in their salary/wages over the years. Thus, exacerbating the level/tempo of stealing of state funds, corruption etc beside it is one the major reasons why millions of Africa’s future productive works force (children) are wasting away on the streets during school hours. A  factor that, increases the level/tempo of poverty and by extension insecurity.

A second factor that made Africa not to develop as expected, under capitalist system is that the population of these climes are already polarized along ethnic/religious lines, hence the absence of state structures made some African political office seekers to resort to fanning the embers of religion/ethnicity to get access to political office INSTEAD OF USING ISSUE BASED POLICIES.  A development that made it impossible for Africans not to be able to elect their leaders based on improvement on state structures (issue based politics) but mostly based on the religion or ethnic affiliation. That these factors made it impossible for Nigeria/African climes to develop as expected, under capitalist system, is to state the facts as it is.

*STRATEGIC ANALYSIS FOR NIGERIA ONLY. The analysis confirmed, without iota of doubt, that Nigeria’s fundamental problem is not the failure to restructure Nigeria, quest for separatism, agitations, religion, ethnicity etc but her first real fundamental problem is the most savage social ideology (survival of the fittest) that her leaders, due to ignorance of dangers of capitalist system foisted upon her citizens, since independence. The researchers opine that call for restructuring, separatism etc  are merely by product of a most savage social  ideology that her leaders, ignorantly foisted upon her citizens, since independence. In other words if there were state structures all over the thirty six states /FCT  then, the level /tempo of these social problems would never be at the level it is today, perhaps all Nigeria may wish to address is simple devolution of powers to the states, among others, in order to enhance growth, competiveness etc among the federating units.

The researchers also believe that state structures would have made it possible for majority of Nigerian workers to be able to live on their legitimate income, as is the case all over Europe today, hence reduce the level/tempo of stealing of state funds, corruption etc and by extension release much needed funds for development.  In the same vein, a state structure would have made it possible for millions of Nigeria’s future productive work force (children) now wasting on the streets to be able to have access to basic/advanced healthcare, education ,among others .Hence, not only enhance human capital development but by extension reduce the level/tempo of poverty and insecurity. But most importantly, state structures would have enabled Nigerians elect their leaders based on issues instead of along religious/ethnic lines, as political office seekers, having met such structures would be forced to use improvements in such structures (issue based politics) to solicit for electorate support, as is the case all over Europe today. Hence enhance massive development in Nigeria. That state structure would have changed the economic and social dynamics in Nigeria is to state the obvious.

*FACTS THAT AIDED THE ABOVE DECISION. Further analysis of the history of capitalist/socialist system confirmed that proponents of capitalist system, although opposed the economic vision of socialist system, on the grounds that it discourages vision, commitment, ideas etc but most importantly that government have no business running strategic assets/companies but should rather allow the private sector do so and pay tax to the state to enable it carry out social services for the citizens. The review confirmed that the proponents of capital system never said anything nor opposed the social visions of socialist ideology i.e. that the state MUST be responsible for the welfare of all citizens i.e. taking full responsibility for the healthcare, education, and housing, among others.  Based on the research socialist system owe it initial/sustained success in the climes that still practices it to this, as citizens were happy that their government made it possible for them, their children, generations yet unborn to have access to basic necessities of life.

The researchers discovered that climes in Europe doing well, under capitalist system are those that today run education, healthcare, housing, etc for all citizens’ social ideology along with the practice /application of economic vision of capitalism. The research confirmed that those climes that, ignorantly run no money, no healthcare, no education etc social ideology or cannot even maintain such structures that its centerpiece is human capital development, have without realizing it, laid a solid foundation for under development, high level/tempo of stealing of state funds, insecurity, corruption, poverty, do or die politics etc as their citizens struggle over who gets what using, any means possible. It is this type of social ideology (common in Africa) which researchers prefer to call: near animal kingdom version of capitalist system. Yes, when animals struggle for meat, they use any means, be it their strength, teeth, brute force, intimidations etc, that unfortunately is the situation, all over Nigeria/Africa today.  Unfortunately, until their leaders plan, invest in their greatest asset (human capital) by making state structures an integral part of their social   the current status quo may remain. The greatest beauty of state structures is that, it is almost self financing. Yes, free meals do not last but it recognizes the needs of the vulnerable and then provides a succor.

KEY STATEMENT OF THE RESEARCHERS

The review of appendix  a to d confirmed, without iota of doubts, that to ensure sustainable economic growth/social stability and in particular ensure massive development, reduce the level/tempo of stealing of state funds, insecurity, corruption, poverty ,do or die politics, brain drain etc under capitalist system, the state (government) MUST run a social ideology that assures all citizens of access to basic necessities of life, i.e. healthcare, education, housing etc through DELIBERATE, sustainable state structures , (social inclusion, social security system, by whatever name called) along with the practice/application  of the economic vision  of capitalist system .Unfortunately, without such structures, citizens are forced to resort to self help, using any means possible. A scenario that its economic/ social consequences are better imagined than felt. The researchers prefer to refer to this development that is common all over Africa as near animal kingdom version of capitalist system. Yes, when animal struggle for food, they use any means: be it brute force, intimidations, teeth, claws etc to get access to their food. This is almost what is happening all over Africa today, as the absence of state structures made their citizens to resort to any means to ensure survival. That, the consequences of this strategic oversight are under development, persistent high level/ tempo of stealing of state funds, corruption, poverty, do or die politic , brain drain etc is to state the facts as is it is. The good news for Africa is that state structures, that its centerpiece is human capital development are almost self financing, but the bad news for Africa is that without planning, investing in their human capital through state structures, these climes may remain underdeveloped/shit hole of the world. The research confirmed that the failure of Africa, to take its pride of place in the comity of nations, has little or nothing to do with their race, color, religion, ethnicity etc but more to do with their leaders inability to plan, invest, train etc in their greatest asset (human capital) through state structures, just as is common all over Europe today.

ABOUT THE BOOK/WHAT NIGERIA MUST DO

The book contains two strategic actions Nigeria and indeed all African leaders must take in the practice/application of economic visions of capitalist systems so as not only to ensure sustainable economic growth/social stability but most importantly, to enable these climes take its pride of place in the comity of nations. The book contains step by step of how to run a well organized state structures, mode of funding, in line with worlds best practices, among others. Please visit www.ericolie.com.ng  for details.

DETAILS OF THE RESEARCH/FINDINGS AND CONCLUSIONS.

INTRODUCTION.

WHY THE RESEARCH WAS CARRIED OUT.

WHAT THE RESEARCHERS INTEND THE OUTCOME OF THE TO BE USED FOR.

APPENDIX  A.

  • ROAD TO DISCOVERY
  • Why the research was carried out/findings.

THE REAL TRUTH BEHIND CAPITALIST SYSTEM.

The greatest limitation of man is to look at evil/dangers prevalent in the world today, and conclude that nothing can be done to change the status quo

GENESIS OF NIGERIA/AFRICAN SOCIO-ECONOMIC PROBLEMS UNDER CAPITALIST SYSTEM

APPENDIX B.

Sustainable state structures (social inclusion, social security system, by whatever name called) are simply DELIBERATE, ALTERNATIVE state structures that uses several concepts such as; social security tax, insurance, mortgages, grants, loans ,credit system, plus massive investment in housing, food security, transportation etc to ensure availability/affordability, among others. The essence of these structures is to assure all citizens (rich or poor, with or without a father, mother etc ) of access to basic necessities of life, *when the need arises*. It is not A FREE MEAL BECAUSE FREE MEALS do not last. In line with the best practice all over Europe, there must be counterpart contributions from the citizens, in order to ensure sustainability.  But it recognizes the positions of the vulnerable and then provides a succor for these crops of people. Again in line with best practice available in the world today, state structures that its centerpiece is human capital development, includes but not limited to the following;

*access to basic/advance healthcare/education for all citizens *Includes running an efficient mortgage, insurance; grants, loans, credit system etc that are tailored within the confines of citizens legitimate income.*well organized pension scheme that addresses the pre and post requirement of the retirees.

CONCLUSIONS/THE GREAT DISCONNECTION FROM THE BENEFITS OF CAPITALIST SYSTEM.

APPENDIX C.FINDINGS/CONCLUSIONS.

APPENDIX D.

SALIENT  POINTS FROM THE RESEARCH FOR NIGERIA.

Considering the composition of Nigeria along ethnic, religious lines etc the need to rotate power between south and North in order to enhance unity may be considered as an option.

. DECISION THAT NIGERIA MUST TAKE.

The current situation where many pensioners spend months, years , die while waiting for entitlement not only depressing but it sends a wrong message to those currently serving their nation.

HELP; IGNORANCE

DESTROYING NIGERIA, WHAT THE WEST MUST DO

Synopsis of His New Book/Road to Discovery

HELP;

IGNORANCE DESTROYING NIGERIA.

  WHAT THE WEST MUST DO.

**TRUTH CANNOT HIDE FOREVER.**

ARE YOU A NIGERIAN OR AN AFRICAN? ARE YOU WORRIED ABOUT THE LEVEL OF UNDERDEVELOPMENT, STEALING OF STATE FUNDS  INSECURITY, CORRUPTION, POVERTY, DO OR DIE POLITICS ETC. IN NIGERIA/AFRICA,  THEN YOU MUST READ THIS BOOK.

Why You Must Read This Book.

The book, titled: Help; Ignorance destroying Nigeria. What the west MUST do. With a subtitle; Why Africa may remain underdeveloped/shit hole of the world, unless….. was a product of intense research, spanning over four decades, was written after the research confirmed, without iota of doubts, and contrary to some opinions that it is not religion, ethnicity, limitations from God, race, color, failure to restructure, quest for separatism, failure to zone political offices, (where these currently occupy the center stage) etc, that are the FUNDAMENTAL reason/s responsible for underdevelopment, high level/tempo of stealing of state funds, corruption, poverty etc. in Nigeria/Africa, under Capitalist system. A development that is today, dangerously at variance with what currently obtains all over Europe.

The research revealed that, these climes are held from developing, just as Europe did, under the same system, by a most savage social ideology that their leaders, due to ignorance of the dangers of capitalist system, ignorantly foisted upon their citizens, since independence. A social ideology that today, discourages growth, perpetuates poverty, hence made high level stealing of state funds, insecurity, corruption, do or die politics, resort to religion, ethnicity etc inevitable.

What The Research Exposed/Dangers of capitalist system.

The researchers discovered that, unlike in a socialist dispensation, capitalist system comes with price. The price is that, while a few are smiling to their banks, millions (majority) may not be able to have access to basic necessities of life, i.e. healthcare, education, housing etc because of one reason or the other along this life’s journeys. So the state MUST intervene with deliberate, sustainable state structures (social inclusion, social security system, by whatever name called) and then run such structures SIMULTANEOUSLY with economic visions of capitalist system. The real essence of such structures, that its centerpiece are human capital developments, are not ONLY to address the dangerous gap between the haves and have not’s (a common features of capitalist system) but to ensure that all citizens (rich or poor, with or without a father, mother etc) of access to basic necessities of life,*when the need arises*.

MISTAKES NIGERIA/AFRICA  MADE ,UNDER CAPITALIST SYSTEM.

The researchers discovered that, those capitalist climes like Nigeria, that their leaders were ignorant of the dangers of capitalist system and then, failed to articulate such structures nor maintain the existing ones have, without realizing it, IGNORANTLY TAKEN A DECISION THAT, millions of their citizens may never have access to basic education, healthcare etc because they are poor, a development that, exacerbate the growth of poverty, insecurity and by extension impede human capital development.  In the same vein, they also, have IGNORANTLY taken a decision that made it impossible for majority of their workers, key stakeholders that initiate/execute government policies unable to live on their legitimate income, a development that, exacerbate the growth of unnecessary/avoidable level of stealing of state funds, corruption and by extension impedes infrastructural development.  But most importantly, the review further revealed that, unless state structures are made an integral part of a capitalist clime social ideology, some citizens, on realization that, under this dispensation, that only the rich or those that have money alone, could have access to basic necessities of life, may resort to self help,(survival of the fittest) using any means possible, with devastating economic/social consequences. During the research we observed that some citizens in the quest to get access to their perceived needs resorts to use their position, engage in unnecessary/avoidable level of stealing of state funds, corruption, some even call for restructuring/separation of their country etc, and where the population of the capitalist clime are polarized along ethnic, religious lines etc some may resort to these, in order to get access to their perceived benefits.  These, the researchers discovered are not the real FUNDAMENTAL problems holding these climes from developing. These, based on the research, are simply by products of a wrong, most savage social ideology, ignorantly foisted upon their citizens.

HOW STATE STRUCTURES CHANGED THE ECONOMIC/SOCIAL DYNAMICS IN EUROPE WHEREAS ABSENCE OF SUCH STRUCTURES REDUCED NIGERIANS/AFRICANS TO MERE CHASERS OF BASIC NECESSITIES OF LIFE.

When citizens of Europe realized that through state structures that they are able to have access to basic/advanced healthcare, education, unemployment benefits, care, own properties, among others, they naturally supported politicians that use improvements in state structures (issue base politics) to solicit for their support as against those that fan the embers of religion, ethnicity etc to do so. The research revealed that, this is one of the major reasons for massive development, low level stealing of state funds, corruption, poverty etc in Europe. TODAY EUROPEAN CITIZENS ONLY SUPPORT POLITICIANS THAT RESORT TO IMPROVEMENTS IN STATE STRUCTURES (ISSUE BASE POLITICS) TO SEEK FOR SUPPORT.

The situation depicted above, is different in Nigeria/Africa. Based on research, their leaders, due to ignorance of dangers of capitalist system, did not put in place such structures nor were able to maintain such structures, where such exists, so some of their citizens resorted to self help (survival of the fittest) in realization that, under the current social ideology, that only the rich or those that have money alone, could have access to basic necessities of life. The research revealed that the absence of state structures in these climes forced some of their citizens to resort to any means be it their positions, engage in unnecessary/avoidable of stealing of state funds, corruption etc and considering that these climes are polarized along ethnic/religious line, some, including their political office seekers, resort to these, with devastating economic/social consequences. Unfortunately, these climes may remain underdeveloped/shithole of the world until their leaders plan invest in their greatest asset (human Capital) through state structures.

GREATEST BENEFITS OF DELIBERATE, SUSTAINABLE STATE STRUCTURES.

When Nigeria citizens realize that, through state structures (an almost self financing system) that they, their children and generations yet unborn, could through such structures have access to basic/advance healthcare, education, care, own properties, receive unemployment benefits etc then, they would naturally support the politicians that use improvements in the state structures (issue base politics) to solicit for support, as against those that fan the embers of religion, ethnicity, tribe etc to do so, just as is the case all over Europe today. A development that not only would enhance massive development but most importantly, ensure peace, unity, progress etc in a multi religious, ethnic, tribal, cultural society. Please see chapter 2 for the real import/meaning of state structures. Also see below for restructuring or state structures: which way Nigeria?

THE GREAT DISCONNECTION/MOMENT OF TRUTH.

As the review above revealed, some of the consequences of not making state structures an integral part of capitalist clime (like Nigeria) social ideology is that, millions of their citizens would never be able to have access to basic necessities because they are poor, with its attendant socio-economic consequences. But most importantly, majority of their key stakeholders (workers) that initiate/execute state policies would never be able to live on their legitimate income hence some transfer their financial frustrations on their job, using any means possible. A scenario that its socio-economic consequences are better imagined than felt. The development in Nigeria/Africa today, borne out of ignorance of dangers of capitalist system, were referred by the researchers as GREAT DISCONNECTION or near animal kingdom version of capitalist system, a recipe for economic policy failures/social instability. That Nigeria’s sordid economic/social performance, under capitalist system was caused by a wrong social ideology is simply to state the obvious.

NEAR ANIMAL KINGDOM VERSION OF CAPITALIST SYSTEM.

The researchers opine that those capitalist climes (like Nigeria) that their leaders, ignorantly failed to articulate/maintain the existing state structures are running what researchers prefer to refer as near animal kingdom version of capitalist system, a considered recipe for economic policy failures/social instability. Yes, when animals struggle for food, they use their claws, teeth, brute force, intimidations etc, to get access to their meat. That, unfortunately, is WHAT IS GOING IN NIGERIA/AFRICA, UNDER CAPITALIST SYSTEM,  AND UNTIL THESE CLIMES PLAN, INVEST IN THEIR CRITICAL ASSET (HUMAN CAPITAL) THE STATUS QUO MAY REMAIN.

DID YOU KNOW?

Did you know that if Nigeria leaders WERE AWARE of dangers of capitalist system and had articulated deliberate, sustainable state structures (social inclusion) and then ran such structures simultaneously with economic visions of capitalist system then, no Nigerian child would be on the streets wasting away, during school hours hence, the level of poverty, insecurity, and by extension lack of human capital development, would never be at the level it is today. And In the same vein, millions of Nigeria workers (majority) now unable to live on their legitimate income, would have been able to do so, as is the case all over Europe today?  Hence, the level of poverty, stealing of state funds, corruption etc would NEVER be at the level it is today. Find out why.

Did you also know that, the failure of Nigeria/Africa’s leaders to make state deliberate structures an integral part of their social ideology, since independence, is one of the major reasons why these climes constantly resort to religion, ethnicity, tribe etc to elect their political leaders instead of issue based politics. Hence, the underdevelopment, high level of stealing of state funds, corruption, poverty, do or die politics etc that are now a common feature in these climes. Find out how deliberate state structures changed the economic/social dynamics in Europe, among others..

Did you know that if the Nigeria/Africa’s politicians had met the right state structures that assured all citizens of access to basic necessities of life, through state structures that, they would never resort to religion, ethnicity etc to solicit for electorate support, but rather use improvement in state structures (issue based politics) to solicit for electorate support, as is currently the case all over Europe? That this would have translated to more development for Nigeria/Africa, is to state the facts as it is. Find out how and why.

DOLLAR QUESTION.

Yes, if Nigeria is not progressing as expected, under capitalist system, why are other climes in Africa not doing well too?  The research revealed that all the indices that aid under development, high level stealing of state funds, insecurity, insecurity, corruption, poverty etc are synonymous in all African climes and none could be considered as an advance country when compared with other climes in Europe, under the same system.  So, it is not therefore, correct that the FUNDAMENTAL problems holding Nigeria and other climes in Africa, from taking its pride of place in the comity of nations are failure to restructure, zone of political offices, quest for separatism, religion, ethnicity, limitations from God, among others. Something else is definitely the REAL fundamental problem and these are what the research revealed.  “There is nothing in the world today more dangerous than sincere ignorance” Martin Luther King jnr.

LITMUS TEST SAYS IT ALL.

Drop a poor child in UK (Europe) and drop another child in Nigeria (Africa) and then come back in twenty five years time. There is possibility that the child dropped in Europe may turn out to be the doctor, scientist etc. that their nation desperately needed, while the child dropped in Africa may turn out to be one of the uneducated youths wasting on the streets of Africa, unless God intervenes.

Did you know that, it was through deliberate state structures, that uses several working concepts, such as social security tax, mortgages, insurance, loans, grants, credit system, plus massive investment in housing, food security, transportation etc to ensure availability/affordability, that made it possible for the poor child dropped in Europe to move to the next level of his/her life, whereas,  lack of such structures/inability to maintain such structures, made it impossible for the child dropped in Nigeria (Africa) to move to the next level of his/her life. It has nothing to do with religion, ethnicity etc

Find out how a wrong, most savage social ideology reduced many Nigerians/Africans to mere chasers of basic necessities of life, thus killing the spirit of research/innovations, the key to technological breakthrough. Find out what Europe did differently and why.

RESTRUCTURING, SEPARATIST AGENDA OR DELIBERATE STATE STRUCTURES (SOCIAL INCLUSION). WHICH WAY NIGERIA?

Is our polarization along religious, ethnic, tribal lines etc one of the major reasons for calling for restructuring/separation of Nigeria? Researchers fear about all these developments, currently occupying the center stage of our current discourse is that, no region in Nigeria is free from religious, ethnic, tribal sentiments. The fear of domination along these lines, may still rear its ugly head whether we restructure or separate this country, a case in point is South Sudan that is today, still battling with ethnic, power sharing, management of oil resources, among others.  But, the real advantages of deliberate, sustainable state structures (an almost self financing system) is that, when citizens realize that through state structures that they, their children, and generations yet unborn, could through such structures, have access to basic/advance healthcare, education, unemployment benefits, receive care when they need it, own properties, among others then, they are bound to support any politician that use improvement in the state structures (issue based politics) to seek for political office, just as it is today all over Europe. Did you know that even if Nigeria restructure, separate along ethnic, religious lines, that issues of domination along these lines, may still be a problem, and that only state structures would address these issues? Please see chapter 8 for the way forward for Nigeria and by extension all African climes. Did you know that it was through state structures that leaders in Europe ensured that their children do not waste on the streets during school hours, hence they were able to reduce level of poverty, and insecurity and by extension enhance human capital development? In the same vein, it was through state structure they able to ensure that majority of their workers are able to live on their legitimate income, hence able to reduce the level of stealing of funds, corruption, and by extension enhance massive development? That Nigerians are victims of ignorance is to state the facts as it is.

HOW TO ENSURE PEACE, PROGRESS, UNITY ETC IN A MULTI RACIAL, RELIGIOUS, ETHNIC, TRIBAL, CULTURAL SOCIETY /WHY BREAK UP *MAY NOT* BE THE BEST OPTION.

Please see chapter ten re: what action/s Nigeria and indeed the rest of Africa, MUST TAKE in order to ensure progress, unity, peace etc in multi racial, ethnic, tribal, religious, cultural society.

ON THE ECONOMY .

The need to stop refining of crude oil abroad as Nigeria loses not only foreign exchange but about thirteen directives from not doing so, in Nigeria, the real dangers of privatization etc. Population a force Nigeria must used positively, among others. NO CAPITALIST NATION COULD SURVIVE CONSTANT INCREASE OF THE PRICES OF ESSENTIAL GOODS BY THE PRIVATE SECTOR UNLESS THERE ARE STATE STRUCTURES TO CUSHION THE EFFECT OF THESE. Unfortunately, continuous withholding of such increases or either resort to subsidy, grants etc is not an option any sensible government would continue for a longtime, without paying dearly for such. Find out how.

Other Issues Addressed In The Book.

*So you want to be President of Nigeria? Do you know that your tribe alone cannot make you the Nigerian President? Have you read the constitution?

*Why Africa may remain underdeveloped/shithole of the world, unless

WAY FORWARD FOR NIGERIA.       Did you know that if there were state structures in the thirty six states plus federal capital territory and also****………that Nigerians would have progressed beyond the current status quo? Please see chapter eight for what researchers refer as social/economic actions Nigeria and by extension, all African climes MUST take (even as presently constituted) to ensure peace, unity, progress etc, especially in a multi religious, ethnic, tribal society.

ABOUT THE BOOK.

Yes, if Nigeria is not progressing as expected, under capitalist system, why are other climes in Africa not doing well too?  During the research, spanning over four decades, the researchers discovered that all the indices that aid under development, high level stealing of state funds, insecurity, insecurity, corruption, poverty etc are synonymous in all African climes and none could be considered as an advance country when compared with other climes in Europe, under the same system.  So, it is not therefore, correct that the FUNDAMENTAL problems holding Nigeria and other climes in Africa, from taking its pride of place in the comity of nations are failure to restructure, zone of political offices, quest for separatism, religion, ethnicity, (where these currently occupy the center stage of the current discourse)   limitations from God, among others. Something else is definitely the REAL fundamental problem and these are what the research, spanning over four decades revealed.  “There is nothing in the world today more dangerous than sincere ignorance” Martin Luther King jnr. The researchers, also took a swipe on the current burning issues i.e. restructuring/separatist agenda or state structures; which way Nigeria? * Dangers of vote buying* Why Africa was referred to as a shithole *How to ensure unity, peace, progress in a multi racial, ethnic, religious, society, among others.

HELP; IGNORANCE

DESTROYING NIGERIA, WHAT THE WEST MUST DO

Why Africa May Remain

Underdeveloped/Shithole of the World Unless…..

**TRUTH CANNOT HIDE FOREVER.**

*TRUTH CAN ONLY BE DELAYED***

ARE YOU A NIGERIAN OR AN AFRICAN? ARE YOU WORRIED ABOUT THE LEVEL OF UNDERDEVELOPMENT, STEALING OF STATE FUNDS  INSECURITY, CORRUPTION, POVERTY, DO OR DIE POLITICS ETC. IN NIGERIA/AFRICA,  THEN YOU MUST READ THIS BOOK.

Why You Must Read This Book.

The book, titled: Help; Ignorance destroying Nigeria. What the west MUST do. With a subtitle; Why Africa may remain underdeveloped/shit hole of the world, unless….. was a product of intense research, spanning over four decades, was written after the research confirmed, without iota of doubts, and contrary to some opinions that, it is not religion, ethnicity, limitations from God, race, color, failure to restructure, quest for separatism, failure to zone political offices, (where these currently occupy the center stage) etc, that are the FUNDAMENTAL reason/s responsible for underdevelopment, high level/tempo of stealing of state funds, corruption, poverty etc. in Nigeria/Africa, under Capitalist system.

What The Research Exposed/Dangers of capitalist system

Please chapter one for strategic analysis for Nigeria only.

MISTAKES NIGERIA/AFRICA  MADE ,UNDER CAPITALIST SYSTEM

The researchers discovered that, those capitalist climes like Nigeria, that their leaders were ignorant of the dangers of capitalist system and then, failed to articulate such structures nor maintain the existing ones have, without realizing it, IGNORANTLY TAKEN A DECISION THAT, millions of their citizens may never have access to basic education, healthcare etc because they are poor, a development that, exacerbate the growth of poverty, insecurity and by extension impede human capital development.  In the same vein, they also, have IGNORANTLY taken a decision that made it impossible for majority of their workers, key stakeholders that initiate/execute government policies unable to survive on their legitimate income, a development that, exacerbate the growth of unnecessary/avoidable level of stealing of state funds, corruption and by extension impedes infrastructural development.

WHAT THE RESEARCH CONFIRMED

The research confirmed that, the real fundamental problem holding Nigeria from developing, just like Europe and other advanced capitalist climes did, under the same system as structural i.e. wrong social ideology. It also confirms that religion, ethnicity, failure to restructure, quest for separatist agenda, agitations, do or die politics etc are simply by products of this most savage, wrong social ideology. THE RESEARCHERS CONFIRMED, WITHOUT IOTA, OF DOUBT, THAT THE CALL FOR RESTRUCTURING, SEPARATIST AGENDA, LEVEL OF STEALING OF STATE FUNDS, CORRUPTION ETC would never be at the level it is today, if…… please see chapter eight, for the socio/economic fall outs for Nigeria only, for details.

Based on research, their leaders, due to ignorance of dangers of capitalist system, did not put in place such structures nor were able to maintain such structures, where such exists. The researchers discovered that, this strategic mistake borne out of ignorance of dangers of capitalist system, is one of the major reasons why millions of Nigeria/African children, are wasting on the streets during school hours, only for their leaders to cry later that insecurity, poverty are over whelming. In the same vein, this strategic oversight is one of the major reasons why Nigeria/African workers except those that work in oil and gas, central banks etc are unable to survive on their legitimate income. Hence some today, transfer their financial frustrations on the same citizens they were paid to serve. During the research we discovered that some resorted to self help (survival of the fittest) in realization that, under the current social ideology, that only the rich or those that have money alone, could have access to basic necessities of life. The research revealed that the absence of state structures in these climes also forced some of their citizens to resort to any means be it their positions, engage in unnecessary/avoidable level of stealing of state funds, corruption etc and considering that these climes are polarized along ethnic/religious line, some, including their political office seekers, resort to these, with devastating economic/social consequences.

What is clear from the research/common sense analysis

What is clear from the research is that, with a social ideology that has no answers to millions of Nigerians/African citizens, that have no access to basic necessities of life, because they are poor, hence today, hawk/waste on the streets during school hours then, the foundations for unnecessary/ avoidable level of poverty, insecurity, among others, were laid in Nigeria/Africa. In the same vein, with a social ideology that made it almost impossible for majority of Nigerian/African workers, key stakeholders that initiate/execute government policies, unable to survive on their legitimate income, despite increases in their salary/wages over the years, then, the foundation for unnecessary/avoidable level of stealing of state funds, corruption etc leading to under development was laid in Nigeria/Africa. But most importantly, a social ideology that today, made resort to self help (survival of the fittest), religion, ethnicity etc inevitable. Hence made enthronement of issue based politics impossible, with devastating economic/social consequences for these climes. Unfortunately, it is this type of social ideology that is ignorantly being practiced in most African nations that is hindering developments in Africa.  FORTUNATELY, THESE DEVELOPMENTS HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH RELIGION, ETHNICITY, AND FAILURE TO RESTRUCTURE NIGERIA, AMONG OTHERS. THESE DEVELOPMENTS ARE SIMPLY BY PRODUCTS OF MOST SAVAGE SOCIAL IDEOLOGY.

Please see chapter one for the strategic analysis for NIGERIA ONLY.

THE GREAT DISCONNECTION/MOMENT OF TRUTH

As the research revealed, some of the consequences of not making state structures an integral part of capitalist clime (like Nigeria) social ideology is that, millions of their citizens would never be able to have access to basic necessities because they are poor, with its attendant socio-economic consequences.

NEAR ANIMAL KINGDOM VERSION OF CAPITALIST SYSTEM

The researchers opine that those capitalist climes (like Nigeria) that their leaders, ignorantly failed to articulate/maintain the existing state structures are running what researchers prefer to refer as near animal kingdom version of capitalist system, a considered recipe for economic policy failures/social instability. Yes, when animals struggle for food, they use their claws, teeth, brute force, intimidations etc, to get access to their food.

Did you know that if Nigeria leaders WERE AWARE of dangers of capitalist system and had articulated deliberate, sustainable state structures (social inclusion) and then ran such structures simultaneously with economic visions of capitalist system then, no Nigerian child would be on the streets hawking/wasting away, during school hours hence, the level of poverty, insecurity, and by extension lack of human capital development, would never be at the level it is today? And In the same vein, millions of Nigeria workers (majority) now unable to survive on their legitimate income, would have been able to do so, as is the case all over Europe today?  Hence, the level of poverty, stealing of state funds, corruption etc would NEVER be at the level it is today. Find out why.

Did you also know that, the failure of Nigeria/Africa’s leaders to make state deliberate structures an integral part of their social ideology, since independence, is one of the major reasons why these climes constantly resort to religion, ethnicity, tribe etc to elect their political leaders instead of issue based politics. Hence, the underdevelopment, high level of stealing of state funds, corruption, poverty, do or die politics etc that are now a common feature in these climes? Find out how deliberate state structures changed the economic/social dynamics in Europe, among others..

Did you know that if the Nigeria/Africa’s politicians had met the right state structures that assured all citizens of access to basic necessities of life, through state structures that, they would never resort to religion, ethnicity etc to solicit for electorate support, but rather use improvement in state structures (issue based politics) to solicit for electorate support, as is currently the case all over Europe? That this would have translated to more development for Nigeria/Africa, is to state the facts as it is. Find out how and why.

MILLION DOLLAR QUESTION

LITMUS TEST SAYS IT ALL

Drop a poor child in UK (Europe) and drop another child in Nigeria (Africa) and then come back in twenty five years time. There is possibility that the child dropped in Europe may turn out to be the doctor, scientist etc. that their nation desperately needed, while the child dropped in Africa may turn out to be one of the uneducated youths hawking/wasting on the streets of Africa, during school hours,  unless God intervenes.

Did you know that even if Nigeria restructure, separate along ethnic, religious lines, that issues of domination along these lines, may still be a problem, and that only state structures would address these issues? Please see chapter 8 for the way forward for Nigeria and by extension all African climes.

RESEARCH CONCLUSIONS/MOMENT OF BITTER TRUTH.

The bitter but honest truth is that, without deliberate, sustainable state structures (an almost self financing system) Nigeria have, ignorantly taken a decision that millions of its citizens, especially children, may never have access to basic necessities of life, because they are poor. In the same vein, Nigeria have, ignorantly taken a decision that made it impossible for majority of her workers, key stakeholders that initiate /execute government policies, unable to survive on their legitimate income, despite increases in their salary/wages over the years. Thus, triggering unnecessary/avoidable resort to self help (survival of the fittest), using any means possible, with dire economic/social consequences. The truth again, is that, if Nigeria had, since independence, put in place deliberate, sustainable state structures (social inclusion) in all the thirty states plus federal capital territory and had run such structures simultaneously with economic visions of capitalist system, just as is the case all over Europe today then, millions of our citizens, especially children, now hawking/wasting on the streets during school hours, would have used such structures to move to the next level of their lives. In the same vein, majority of workers in Nigeria, now unable to survive on their legitimate income, despite increases in their salary/wages over the years, would have been able to do so, as is the case all over Europe. But most importantly, the politicians having met such structures would naturally resort to improvements in state structures (issue base politics) again, as is the case all over Europe, instead of fanning the embers of religion, ethnicity etc to do so. Unfortunately, until Nigeria makes state structures an integral part of their social ideology, the level of underdevelopment, stealing of state funds, corruption, poverty, do or die politics etc may never change, while her unity, peace, progress etc may remain difficult to achieve in a multi racial, religious, ethnic society.

THESE RESEARCH CONCLUSIONS CONFIRMED, WITHOUT IOTA OF DOUBTS THAT RELIGION, ETHNICITY, FAILURE TO RESTRUCTURE ETC ARE NOT THE FUNDAMENTAL PROBLEMS HOLDING NIGERIA AND INDEED ALL OTHER AFRICAN CLIMES FROM TAKING ITS PRIDE OF PLACE IN THE COMITY OF NATIONS. THESE CLIMES BASED ON RESEARCH ARE SIMPLY VICTIMS OF WRONG SOCIAL IDEOLOGY THAT, OVER THE YEARS FAILED TO ADDRESS THE DANGERS INHERENT IN A CAPITALIST SYSTEM.

FALL OUTS FROM THE RESEARCH

On social stability includes but not limited to the following:*What Nigeria and by extension all African climes must do to ensure that majority of its workers could survive on their legitimate income, in order to reduce the level of stealing of state funds, corruption and by extension enhance human capital development. But most importantly, ensure that workers do not vent their financial frustrations on the citizens they were paid to serve.

*What Nigeria must do to ensure that millions of its citizens (especially future productive workforce) now hawking/wasting on the streets during school hours could have access to basic education, among others? Hence reduce the level of poverty, insecurity and by extension enhance human capital development.

*How to ensure peace, progress, unity and most importantly, enthrone issue based politics, among others, in a multi racial, religious, ethnic, tribal society. WHY BREAK UP MAY NOT BE THE BEST OPTION. PLEASE SEE CHAPTER EIGHT FOR DETAILS.

ON THE ECONOMY

The need to stop refining of crude oil abroad as Nigeria loses not only foreign exchange but also thirteen derivatives from processing her crude oil abroad, the dangers of privatization etc. Population a force Nigeria must use positively, among others. NO CAPITALIST NATION CAN SURVIVE CONSTANT INCREASE OF THE PRICES OF ESSENTIAL GOODS BY THE PRIVATE SECTOR UNLESS THERE ARE STATE STRUCTURES TO CUSHION THE EFFECT OF THESE.

*Why Africa may remain underdeveloped /shithole of the world, unless…

*The dangers of vote buying.*Yes, people from minority ethnic, tribal etc groups can become the President of Nigeria if………among others.
